I am a clinical audiologist working at HearingLife Albany since the completion of my Master of Audiology qualification at the University of Auckland. Prior to this I enjoyed my Bachelor of Science studies, majoring in Physiology which kindled my interest in audiology. I have an innate desire to work in a clinical environment, the field of audiology provides the opportunity to develop a career in a fascinating, rapidly advancing field of science focusing on improving quality of life.
Among the many other benefits of improved hearing, the opportunity to enable reconnection with family and friends is something I am passionate about. The challenge of working together with each individual client, considering his or her personal wishes and needs while providing support along this journey, is very important to me.
As an audiologist I want to promote the value of our hearing. I am an advocate for education and promotion of the many actions required to enhance and prevent the loss of this very important sense which adds so much value to our lives!
