I have been a practicing audiologist for over 19 years and joined the HearingLife team in 2015. I am a full member of the New Zealand Audiological Society and hold a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology (BSc.) as well as a Master of Audiology degree with First Class honors (M.Aud (hons)).
Since graduating in 1998, I have worked in a variety of hearing service settings with children and adults both within New Zealand and overseas. In additional to clinical practice, I have worked in hearing aid manufacturing which has given me an inside knowledge into the advanced technology that goes into hearing aids and their development. Currently I am also providing clinical supervision to a Master of Audiology student from Auckland University.
I genuinely enjoy making connections with the people I meet who come to us for advice and help with their hearing health care. Making a real difference to the quality of people’s lives make Audiology a very satisfying career and helping people is the driving force behind my choosing to become an Audiologist.
