After graduating from the University of Auckland, I have been working as an audiologist in private clinics for the past 2 years and have recently attained MNZAS full membership. I joined the HearingLife Orewa clinic in early 2016 and continue to enjoy working for such a fantastic team and being part of a company that prides itself on Superior Customer Service and Clinical Excellence.
I hold a Master’s Degree with First Class Honours in Audiology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I have a keen interest in hearing aid technology and have just published my thesis on the effects of extended bandwidth hearing aids for hearing aid wearers in the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology.
As a person with hearing loss and hearing aid wearer myself, I have a natural understanding of patients’ needs and a genuine desire to create positive changes for anyone with hearing loss, be it mild to profound. I believe in caring for the patient as a whole person, which means more than simply fitting them with a hearing aid, but finding the best solution tailored to their needs and providing continual care and excellent service.
